Just call, email or write and you can deal directly without the hassle of an agent ,personal manager or other assorted hangers-on. I’ll answer your questions, give you an opinion and the one thing I won’t do is waste your time. I’d like to provide your event or party with my services but if I’m not what your looking for I might be able to help you find who is. You can book any of my formats, Loren Barrigar and I, Terry Quill and I or the full Joe Whiting Band just by contacting me. I return ALL CALLS and ALL email ! I know thats unusual but nothing irritates me more than being given the run around. I may not always give you the answer you want to hear, but believe me , you will hear from me!

Because I’m fortunate enough to work with some of the most talented people you will ever find anywhere, I can perform in several different formats. My main focus is the Joe Whiting Band that consists of Terry Quill on guitar and vocals, Brian Barrigar on bass , Frank DeFonda on drums and myself singing lead and playing tenor sax. I would call our style of music ‘Americana’ in that it incorporates rock ‘n’roll, blues, soul, jazz and real country into one unmistakable and unforgettable style. Our recorded works over the last 15 years show the common bond that makes our statement so unique. Whether it’s an interpretation of a great song or an original statement, the message is always the same; There’s only 2 kinds of music, good or bad. If you are interested in music for a private function, such as a wedding reception, party or corporate event, the band and I focus on popular songs that everyone knows. I’ve been fortunate enough to have had my original work used in Motion Pictures, on Network Television and for national and regional advertising campaigns, so I’m pretty picky about songs. I study them, sing them,play them and quite frankly, I love them so when it comes to performing, I try to pick great songs that I can sing with conviction and soul. I’ve found that the private sector is by far the most demanding because it involves Professional people who are used to professionalism and won’t settle for less. That’s the way I like it, it’s my business to see that your business enjoys a successful party. If your guests want to dance, whether it is swing, slow,rock or R&B,I’ve got the best group in the area.If you require something more Jazz and standard oriented, I work with some of the finest smooth Jazz players around. If you need something more intimate, I offer guitar and vocals , piano and vocals, piano and sax or solo saxophone. Depending on your needs and your budget, I think we have something you would be interested in. for when the music needs to be there for atmosphere and ambiance. Performing and Entertaining are what I do for a living, and my reputation is based upon client satisfaction and their word of mouth. Some of the clients I’ve had the pleasure of working with are Anheuser-Busch, Carrier Corporation,The Syracuse Sky Chiefs, Miller Brewing Company,Bristol-Meyers, Welch-Allyn, Harborfest Incorporated, Mutual of Omaha, and The UpdownTowners, among others. House Parties!
